Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or engaging our services. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Scudamore Racing Ltd. If you have any questions, please contact us before proceeding.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Scudamore Racing Ltd website located at scudamoreracing.co.uk and any related services provided by Scudamore Racing Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the Company”).

By accessing or using our website, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

All services are subject to separate written agreements, quotations, or order confirmations which will set out the specific terms applicable to each engagement.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All prices quoted on our website are indicative only and subject to change without notice. Formal written quotations are provided on request and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

Vehicle prices are quoted exclusive of any applicable road tax, registration fees, or delivery charges unless explicitly included. Finance quotations are indicative and subject to formal credit assessment and lending approval. All prices quoted include VAT at the prevailing UK rate unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to decline any order or enquiry at our sole discretion. A contract for services is formed only upon our written acceptance of your order or signing of a formal service agreement.

4. Vehicle Sales

All pre-owned vehicles are sold subject to our standard inspection process. While we take care to describe vehicles accurately, descriptions on our website are for general guidance only. You are strongly encouraged to inspect any vehicle in person before purchase and to commission an independent inspection if desired.

All vehicles are sold with the benefit of any manufacturer warranty remaining, where applicable. Our own workmanship warranty on any work carried out prior to sale is 12 months from the date of sale. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Part exchange valuations are provided in good faith but are subject to physical inspection of the vehicle at our premises. A preliminary online valuation does not constitute a firm offer and may be revised following inspection.

5. Repair and Service Work

All repair and service work is carried out subject to a written estimate agreed with you before work commences. We will notify you of any additional work required that was not included in the original estimate and obtain your approval before proceeding.

Our liability for repair work is limited to the cost of that repair. We are not liable for consequential loss, including loss of use of the vehicle, costs of alternative transport, or competition entry fees, except where required by law.

Vehicles left with us for repair work are held at your risk. We maintain workshop premises insurance but recommend that you ensure your own vehicle insurance remains in force throughout the period the vehicle is with us.

6. Custom Builds

Custom horsebox build projects are governed by a separate written Build Agreement which sets out the specification, price, payment schedule, and timeline. These Terms apply in addition to that agreement.

Build timelines are estimates only and may be affected by parts availability, supplier lead times, or circumstances beyond our control. We will keep you informed of any significant delays.

A deposit of typically 30–50% of the agreed build cost is required before work commences, with the balance due prior to or at handover. Full payment must be received before the vehicle leaves our premises.

We retain title to all vehicles and materials until payment is received in full.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design, is the property of Scudamore Racing Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any content from this website without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use. You may print or download content for your own reference.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scudamore Racing Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services.

Our total liability to you in connection with any contract for services shall not exceed the value of that contract. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

The information on our website is provided in good faith but without warranty of accuracy or completeness. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on website content.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
